Regional Sales Manager (Indonesia Barat)

Job Summary

As Regional Sales Manager, you are responsible for driving sales growth in Sumatera, Sulawesi, or Kalimantan, by developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and analyzing market trends. Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets, providing coaching and training to team members, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Tugas dan Tanggung Jawab

- Develop and execute regional sales plans in line with national objectives and KPIs.

- Manage and grow General Trade (GT) and/or Modern Trade (MT) channels across the region.

- Develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives and strategies to grow sell out in accounts and work closely with HQ and distributor team to execute the plan

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and local partners to facilitate the implementation of the regional sales programs

- Find and establish relationship with distributors in new areas

- Analyze regional market trends, evaluate account’s performance, collecting customer feedback, and discover new opportunities for growth

- Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume, forecasting, and developing sales quotas for the region

- Resolve customer complaints and service issue

- Ensure effective trade marketing execution and in-store visibility of products.

- Analyze sales data, track performance, and prepare regular reports for management.

- Oversee stock levels, sales forecasting, and order planning with distributors.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and credit terms.

Persyaratan

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Minimum 8 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 4 years in a regional or area management role.

- Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales role in Sumatera, Sulawesi, or Kalimantan

- Prior experience handling Indonesia Barat Area

- Strong understanding of GT and/or MT operations and distribution networks.

- Proven ability to drive sales growth in Consumer Goods products and manage teams across multiple territories.

- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.

- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.

- Understanding of store operations

- Excellent communication skills, negotiation, strong leadership & organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude, ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team
